Liverpool Socialist Singers sang at the Street Choirs Festival in Manchester in July, 2019.
Among other places they sang at the Emmeline Pankhurst statue in St Peters’ Square.
Later in the day we sang a couple of songs created by choir members at the festival evening concert:
Cammell Lairds song – about the 37 workers who were imprisoned for their part in an official strike in 1984, and
Zero Hours – a song for our time.
